mama had a bad dream
she dreamed that she was falling and she couldn't look back
but, by the time she woke up
she realized the dream was real, she couldn't hold back
now i guess i'm getting into
the same situation in the same old place
so i think i'll have to
walk through the darkness, concrete floors and counted days
i can't erase my past
but i'll try to fix up this mess
papa had a bad dream
'bout being in a crowd, but still felling alone
he thought the dream was better
'cause here you search for people, but you have no one
i think crowds are illusions
all is empty, although is full, but i'm halfway there
to find my one-way ticket
to grab somebody's open hand and have no regrets
i can't forget my past
but i can fix up this mess
once i had a bad dream
about a boy, a single star and some words of love
i guess it was a dead star
so as those words, they seemed to shine, i couldn't hold back
well, i guess i'm helpless now
like an anti-heroin looking for a home
home is where the heart is
so i'll build my inner fortress and make it on my own
i couldn't make it in the past
but i will fix up this mess (3x)
life's like a puzzle that's incomplete
but i'll find the missing piece
